John Worboys victims win compensation bid backing

Two women sexually assaulted by London taxi driver John Worboys have won a High Court victory in their bid to get compensation from the police.

The women, known only as DSD and NBV for legal reasons, reported the crimes to the Metropolitan Police but Worboys continued attacking women in his taxi.

Worboys committed a string of sex attacks from 2002-08, telling women he had won money and offering them spiked drinks to celebrate. He was jailed for life in 2009.

Clive Coleman reports.
