Keith Blakelock murder 'haunts' Broadwater community

The killing of PC Keith Blakelock during the Broadwater Farm riots "still haunts" the north London community, residents have said.

Nicholas Jacobs, 45, was found not guilty of murdering the officer by a jury at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Community workers say many things have changed on the Broadwater estate since the events of October 1985 - but the trial of Mr Jacobs has reopened some old wounds.

Kurt Barling reports.
