Horse racing on Good Friday for first time in UK

History will be made when horse racing takes place on a Good Friday for the first time in Britain.

Organisers believe breaking with tradition is vital to bring an audience to racing.

There are two race meetings with Lingfield Park in Surrey expecting a record crowd. Scottish track Musselburgh is set to welcome 4,000 racegoers.
