Family justice changes: Care cases to be speeded up

The family justice system in England and Wales is being overhauled with some of the biggest changes in a generation. The government says the reforms will prioritise the welfare of the children.

The aim is to simplify the whole process so that care and adoption cases are dealt with much more quickly, and couples who are separating find it easier to reach an agreement.
