Solicitor: Savile payout adverts 'not a guarantee'
A solicitor has warned that advertisements advising Jimmy Savile's victims how to apply for compensation do not guarantee people a payout.
Two national newspapers are carrying the adverts, which were ordered by the High Court to make it quicker and easier for victims to make a claim.
Alison Miller, a solicitor who represents a number of people who say they were victims of the former entertainer, said "evidence" would be needed to make a successful claim.
She told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "You will need some evidence to show that you were in a situation where Savile had the opportunity to abuse you."
