Hillsborough inquest: Tribute to Thomas Steven Fox

Brenda Fox's son Steve was one of the 96 people who died at Hillsborough Stadium during the FA Cup semi-final in April 1989.

Background statements are being read out in court at the start of the new inquest into the disaster.

Ms Fox recalled memories of Steve's youth, including his 21st birthday when he was thrown into a vat of chocolate by colleagues at Cadbury's.

She told the court: "A great boy died on 15 April 1989, along with the potential of a father, a husband, an uncle and friend."
