Chelsea Flower Show recalls the Ethiopian famine 30 years on

One of the gardens at this year's Chelsea Flower Show commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Ethiopian famine.

When the team of BBC correspondents Michael Buerk and Mike Wooldridge, cameraman Mohamed Amin and soundman Zack Njuguna finally secured permission to travel to the epicentre in a region caught up in civil war the next challenge was how to get there.

The agency World Vision came to their aid and flew them to northern Wollo and Tigre from where they reported on the catastrophic worsening of the famine.

It is World Vision that is behind the garden at Chelsea, and Mike Wooldridge - today one of the BBC's World Affairs correspondents - went along to see it.
