Commonwealth Games: Queen's Baton Relay in London

The Queen's Baton was welcomed by Londoners ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The baton arrived in style when four-time Olympic champion Sir Matthew Pinsent abseiled down the Orbit with the baton in his hand.

During its stay in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, many people took the opportunity to try out a new sport for the first time. The baton then moved on to a garden party at Number 10 Downing Street, hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron.
