Army cuts plan has 'risks' says watchdog

Plans to scale back the UK's regular Army and increase the number of reservists has come with "significant risks" say the spending watchdog.

A report from the National Audit Office warned the decision was taken without "appropriate testing of feasibility".

The restructuring programme, known as Army 2020, was set up to make significant savings and reduce numbers.
