Len McCluskey: 'Unite stands behind Labour and Ed Miliband'
The UK's biggest trade union has given its backing to Ed Miliband and the Labour Party for the 2015 general election.
General secretary Len McCluskey told the Unite conference in Liverpool that the union had had its problems with the party but that they offered an "increasingly radical agenda" and were the only alternative to the "ruinous Conservative coalition".
He also suggested that the union would offer financial support for the campaign, saying "We will not let Labour fight for this programme with one hand tied behind its back".
