Tour de France: Crowds gather in Leeds for start

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will officially open the Tour de France when it begins in Yorkshire later.

Almost 200 riders will be given a royal send-off when they leave Leeds Town Hall and will be greeted by a Red Arrows fly-past when they reach Harewood House.

Up to two million people are due to line the route with many roads closed around the country.

Chris Eakin reports.
