Prince William takes plunges for new scuba president role
The Duke of Cambridge has donned a wetsuit and shown off his scuba diving skills to mark his new role as the president of the British Sub-Aqua Club, after taking over from his father Prince Charles.
Giving a speech at the Oasis Sports Centre in central London, Prince William quipped that his son George might follow in their footsteps: "For the moment bath time is quite painful, but I imagine as he gets a little bit older, donning a mask and snorkel might calm him down."
After snorkelling with a group of children and posing for underwater photos, he tried to convince his father to join him in the water: "There's a spare snorkel and mask for you!" - but Prince Charles was having none of it, pretending to kick the pink kit away.
