Taxpayers 'lost £1bn' on Royal Mail sale

The tax payer could be out of pocket by as much as £1bn because the government sold Royal Mail too cheaply.

MPs on the Business Select Committee say that ministers underestimated the demand for shares but the government insists their views are based on hindsight.
