Prince Harry unveils WW1 memorial arch in Folkestone

Prince Harry has unveiled a Memorial Arch in Folkestone in memory of the millions of men and women who passed through on their way to and from the Western Front.

The arch is the only new physical structure built in the UK to commemorate the centenary of Britain joining World War One.

It was proposed by the Step Short project - its chairman, the town's MP Damian Collins, explained the significance of the site: "This memorial arch stands in memory of all those who served".
