Boris Johnson: Current EU model is 'anti-democratic'
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has said that he thinks remaining in the EU is not the only option for Britain.
In a speech in London on Wednesday, he called for a "modest package" of reforms, saying that being part of a reformed EU was still "the best option".
But he said that the UK could still survive and thrive outside the current "outdated" and "anti-democratic" EU model.
"I want a Europe of opportunity. A cartel-busting, market-opening Europe," he said.
