Lottery winner's ticket bin hunt

A woman who won £1m on a lottery scratchcard had an anxious wait while a shop assistant looked through a bin for the missing corner of their winning ticket.

The barcode on the back of the card was torn when Jackie Murphy from Shrewsbury bought the card, making it difficult to verify the win until it had been found.
