Peter Kay switches on Blackpool Illuminations

Comedian Peter Kay has turned on the Blackpool Illuminations.

The promenade lights will shine nightly until 9 November.

Stretching for more than five miles, Blackpool Illuminations attract more than three million visitors to the town each year.
