Manchester Dogs' Home fire: Men helped with rescue

Three men who risked their lives to run into the blaze at Manchester Dogs' Home and rescue around 20 animals have described their experiences.

Jason Dyer, his son Daniel Vere and nephew Dean Rostock. told the Today programme's Justin Webb that after seeing the smoke from the blaze, in which about 60 dogs died, they jumped over three fences to reach the scene and assist firefighters.

Mr Dyer said they were "just concerned about getting them out".

A 15-year-old boy has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of starting the fire.

A total of £1 million has been pledged in donations from the public.
