Alice Gross: Police carry out fingertip search

Detectives investigating the disappearance of missing schoolgirl Alice Gross have been carrying out a fingertip search in a canal in West London near to where she was last seen.

It is thought the main suspect, Arnis Zalkans, may have returned to Latvia to go into hiding.

Zalkans was seen on CCTV cycling close to the spot where Alice went missing on 28 August.
