Alice Gross: Mother-in-law of suspect hopes for swift arrest

The mother-in-law of the main suspect in the disappearance of 14-year-old schoolgirl Alice Gross has told the BBC she hopes Arnis Zalkalns will be caught soon.

Zalkalns was jailed for murdering his wife in Latvia in 1998.

Forensic tests are being carried out on a knife found in a river close to where Alice was last seen and police continue to search.
