Rare intact woolly mammoth skeleton to go to auction

A rare skeleton of a woolly mammoth is set to be sold at auction in the UK in November with a guide price of £150,000 to £250,000.

The virtually complete skeleton will be sold as part of the "Evolution" sale which also includes a 30cm elephant bird egg and a passenger pigeon.

Errol Fuller, the curator of the auction said just putting the Mammoth back together was a challenge.
