Ebola: 'Misguided hysteria' stops boy going to school

The Headteacher at St Simon's Catholic Primary School has blamed "misguided hysteria" about Ebola for the cancellation of a visit by a boy from Sierra Leone.

Kofi Mason-Sesay, 9, had been due to attend classes at the school in Stockport.

Kofi does not have the disease, has studied at the school during previous visits to England, and was due there again this month.

But some parents have objected to this and expressed fear over Kofi's visit.

Clare Fallon reports.
