RFA Argus captain: 'We are ready to deploy'

The Royal Navy medical ship RFA Argus is leaving Britain for Sierra Leone carrying three Merlin helicopters and a crew of around 380.

Those onboard include doctors, nurses, surgeons and Royal Marines.

Captain David Eagles told BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty: "It's a very capable package and the ship is ready, in all respects, to deploy today."
