Child abuse: Keith Vaz says Fiona Woolf 'did the right thing'

Fiona Woolf has done the right thing in stepping down as the head of an inquiry into historic child sex abuse, the chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee Keith Vaz has said.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Vaz suggested that the process of appointing Mrs Woolf was flawed and that there should be "full consultation with stakeholders" before her replacement is chosen.
