Space tourist: Branson cannot afford to kill passengers

Virgin Galactic ticket holder Jon Goodwin has described his shock on hearing about a test flight crash - but says he still plans to be a space tourist.

One pilot died and the other was badly injured when SpaceShipTwo exploded in the Mojave Desert on Friday.

However, Mr Goodwin told BBC Breakfast that he was utterly confident the problem would be rectified: "Richard Branson will not allow us to fly until the aircraft is perfectly safe."
