Time-lapse shows Tower of London poppies being removed

The task of removing the 888,246 ceramic poppies, which attracted more than five million visitors to the Tower of London, has now finished.

Every single poppy has been sold for £25 each, with the money raised going to six different service charities.

The BBC filmed the process of the "picking" the poppies and sped the footage up.
