'Traumatic and devastating' for victims of paedophile doctor

Renu Daly, the lawyer for the victims of a paedophile doctor, told the press it was a relief the case had come to a conclusion but said it has had a "horrendous impact" on the victims.

Myles Bradbury, a cancer specialist who abused 18 boys in his care in Cambridge, has been jailed for 22 years.

Bradbury admitted committing 25 offences, including sexual assault, while working at Addenbrooke's Hospital between 2009 and 2013.

Ms Daly, making a statement outside Cambridge Crown Court, said sadly some of the victims had passed away due to their conditions and for them "justice was not witnessed today".
