'Shocking' disability access to shops

Access for disabled people on the High Street in Britain is "shocking", a government audit of more than 30,000 shops and restaurants has found.

Thousands of venues had failed to adapt their premises, with one in five shops excluding wheelchair users.

The government has called on retailers to improve access.
