New Era Estate sold to affordable housing group

People living on an estate in Hoxton, east London, have said they are overjoyed its future for them has been saved.

The New Era Estate was bought by an American property developer which it was feared would increase rents.

However, after a high profile campaign, the owners decided instead to sell to an affordable housing group.

BBC London's Emma North spoke to campaigners Danielle Molinari and Lindsey Garrett and Hackney Labour Councillor Phil Glanville.
