Solent cargo ship: Crew members were in 'definite danger'

Twenty-five crew members have been rescued after their car transporter ship ran aground in the Solent, off the Isle of Wight, on Saturday.

The Hoegh Osaka was heading to Germany when it ran on to the Bramble Bank, in the entrance to Southampton Water.

Peter Davies who is duty controller from the Solent Coastguard explained how the crew were rescued in what he described as a "complex operation".
