Tenants 'face excessive letting agent fees'
More than nine million people rent their homes from private landlords in England alone, but many of them complain about the fees they are charged by agents.
The property redress scheme, which settles disputes, says despite the complaints many agencies in England are increasing their fees and using the extra money to cut costs for landlords.
Campaigners are now lobbying politicians for a better deal.
