Benefits changes warning over social housing rents
More benefit reforms by the UK government could make it difficult for housing associations in Wales to take on any more of the responsibilities that councils can no longer afford, says the body representing the sector.
Housing associations have been praised by the Welsh government for the support they are providing, such as landscaping and job clubs.
But Community Housing Cymru says if the benefits system continues to change social housing landlords may have less money as people fall behind on rent.
