London Mayor Boris Johnson: 'Put roads underground like Boston'

Could some of London's busiest roads go underground, to allow traffic to flow more freely?

The idea to replace wide stretches of roads and flyovers, with tunnels, has been put forward by London Mayor Boris Johnson, during his visit to Boston.

The US city already has a similar scheme in place, which Mr Johnson thinks would work in London.
