British Muslim: 'Britain is a country for everyone'
The number of children growing up Muslim in the UK has almost doubled in a decade. The Muslim Council of Britain has broken down the 2011 census data, to show that one in 12 schoolchildren in England and Wales are now Muslim.
The past decade saw numbers of Muslims rise by 1.1 million to 2.7 million - with some three quarters identifying themselves solely as British.
Idris Yousaf runs a barber shop in Walsall and Mahmood Amjid runs a carpet business. They tell the BBC how they feel about their identity as British Muslims and how the way British Muslims are treated has changed.
