Oxfordshire grooming victims may have totalled 373 children

As many as 373 girls and young women may have been groomed for sex by gangs of men in Oxfordshire in the last 16 years.

A damning report says the authorities, including police and social services, lacked professional curiosity and often blamed the victims for what was happening to them.

It said that while there were no signs of wilful neglect, the exploitation should have been spotted far sooner.
