PCC Tony Lloyd: Police cuts 'put public at risk'

Every police force in England and Wales is preparing for major budget cuts over the next five years, the BBC has found.

Forces are facing a 5% cut in government funding in 2015/16 and more cuts after the general election.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd warned that cutting police officers would "put communities at risk" and urged any future government to reconsider.
