Generation 2015 profiles: Capri Ditori

I'm 21 from Holywood in North Down and currently on a gap year from a BSc in Psychology.

I'm involved with activism for trans peoples' rights locally in Northern Ireland. I'm fuelled by a passion for social justice and protecting the environment via sustainability.  

I'm extremely opinionated and strong-minded but I'm also both pragmatic and diplomatic. I've been described before by a close friend as a "delectable nuisance".  

As a member of the transgender community this election is important to me, because I feel it's necessary to have elected officials in Westminster who are willing to listen to and act upon the needs and wants of a marginalised community.
