Anger at report into contaminated NHS blood

A report explaining how NHS patients in Scotland were given contaminated blood in the 1970s and 80s concluded that little could have been done differently.

The Penrose Inquiry has been looking into the cases of hundreds of people who developed Hepatitis C or HIV after receiving infected blood.

Thousands of patients across the UK were affected, but Scotland is the only part of the UK to hold an investigation so far.

Prime Minister David Cameron has apologised on behalf of the British government to victims of the scandal.

Laura Bicker reports.
