Generation 2015 profiles: Jacob Ellis

I'm 22, and from the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. As president of Aberystwyth University Students' Union I am fully aware of the issues that young people, and students in particular, are facing.

With around 10,000 students in Aberystwyth, the membership is diverse. As voter registration has changed, it's imperative that students are informed and engaged about politics.

For many students, politics is seen to be irrelevant and aloof. We all have a responsibility to change that attitude.

My interests lie within current affairs, international students, further devolution to Wales, and tuition fees.
