#InMyShoes: Mary Hassan - LGBT Community

Mary is a 23-year-old from Derry and she's currently studying for her masters degree in Peace and Conflict studies - whilst working a full time job.

She tells us as a member of the LGBT community and she feels they are treated as second class citizens in northern Ireland and unlike the rest of the United Kingdom, gay marriage is not legal.

Mary talks about how unfair it is that she could be turned away from somewhere in Northern Ireland just because she has a girlfriend.
