My son 'paid the ultimate price' for texting while driving

A woman who lost her son when he crashed his car moments after sending a text message has implored people not to make the same mistake.

Jane Allen, whose son Shaun was killed instantly in the crash, said he paid "the ultimate price".

She insists using a mobile while driving is "not right" and its "certainly not safe".
