Controversy over London 'gay conversion' seminar

There have been calls for a conference in London, billed as "exploring unwanted same-sex attractions", to be banned.

Campaigners say there should be no place in the UK for people to teach that being gay is something that is wrong and should be cured.

Earlier this month President Obama called for an end to 'gay conversion therapies' in the States.

NHS England and the Royal College of Psychiatrists describe the treatment as "potentially harmful and unethical".

The BBC's Benjamin Zand from the Victoria Derbyshire programme was the only broadcast journalist to gain access to the conference.
