Nepal earthquake: UK to send RAF plane with aid

The British government has given more details of its response to the earthquake in Nepal, which is now known to have killed 3,726 people and injured 6,500.

International Development Secretary Justine Greening confirmed the provision of an RAF plane with emergency supplies for people made homeless in the disaster.

A Disasters Emergency Committee appeal for Nepal will be launched on Tuesday.
