Royal baby: Prince William 'very happy' with daughter

The Duke of Cambridge has said he is "very happy" following the birth of his second child - a daughter.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth at 08:34 BST, with the child weighing 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg).

Prince William spoke briefly to crowds waiting outside the hospital as he left to visit his son, Prince George.
