Network Rail workers vote to strike over pay

The prospect of the first National Rail strike in more than 20 years is looming after thousands of rail workers voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action over pay.

It comes on the day that the government outlined plans to press ahead with tightening the laws on industrial action.
