Caroline Lucas vows to continue 'fight against fracking sites'

Caroline Lucas has said she is "deeply disappointed" that planning officials have recommended that fracking should be allowed at one of two sites on the Fylde coast in Lancashire.

The Green MP said she believed the concerns of local people about the move had been ignored but declared that she would continue her fight against fracking sites being set up across the country.

The final decision about whether energy firm Cuadrilla will be allowed to extract shale gas at the sites in Little Plumpton and Roseacre Wood will be made by councillors next week.
