Car crash victims found after three days

A dead man and a critically-injured woman have been found in a crashed car three days after the accident was reported, Police Scotland have confirmed.

The pair, believed to be John Yuill, 28, and Lamara Bell, 25, were reported missing to police after last being seen in the company of friends in the Loch Earn area of Stirlingshire in a blue Renault Clio in the early hours of Sunday.

Police found the car just off the M9 near Stirling on Wednesday.

Correspondent Kevin Keane says the Independent Police Investigations and Review Commissioner is investigating the case.
