Asylum aid charity: Migrant crisis 'disgraceful'

A worker for the Asylum Aid organisation has criticised the handing of the migrant crisis Calais and the rest of Europe as ''absolutely disgraceful''.

''What we need is far more political courage and foresight from our politicians to co-operate more extensively with all of our European partners,'' said the charity's Zoe Gardner.

Prime Minister David Cameron has admitted the migrant crisis in Calais was "testing" for the government - but has insisted it was "totally focused" on the problem.
