Army 'should end malaria drug use'

The Ministry of Defence has been urged to stop providing a controversial anti-malaria tablet to British soldiers.

Mefloquine, also known as Lariam, has been linked to severe depression and other mental illnesses.

A Conservative MP and a senior military medic have both said the government should use different drugs until more tests are carried out.
