Corbyn says he will apologise for Iraq war if elected

Jeremy Corbyn says he will formally apologise for the Iraq war on behalf of the Labour party, if he is elected leader.

Speaking to the Guardian he said it was time for the party to apologise for taking the UK into the Iraq War "on the basis of deception" and to the Iraqi people for the "suffering" caused.
